MN Congressman takes effort to repeal device tax online

by Jeffrey Clark on February 26, 2013

Last year, Rep. Erik Paulson (R-MN) led the effort to repeal the medical device excise tax as part of the Affordable Care Act.  His legislation passed the House – but the bill died in the Senate.   In this new Congress, he has introduced legislation to repeal the tax again, with much ballyhooed support from 187 co-sponsors.

Today, he addresses one of the largest online groups in the Medical Devices Group, now with over 160,000 members, on progress to repeal the tax and the support needed in order to push the legislation through the Senate.
